Burning Man is more than just the flaming wooden dude. It's a gathering
of art and artists, creators of displays that are to be shared for a short
time, and then carted back off the playa after no more than a week of
public display.
There was more art and such on the playa than I could hope to see and
experience, but this is a small snapshot of... well, my snapshots. (Wherever
possible, I've also noted the artist and piece's name, too.) (If I good
the name of the art piece, or it's missing, let me know and I'll post
it; I did what I could from the What Where When booklet.)
I don't know the camp's name, but the light show wall was cool (they
were on Esplanade and ~9:30).
Walking along and feeling tired? Feel free to rest your barkin'
dogs and set your drink on the table.
One of the camps near Kidsville along 5:30 and Catharsis.
Camp Tramp isn't what you may think it sounds like.
I don't know the story here, but the camp seemed to be wrapped in
stretch film. Curious, eh?
