Being far more popular than Tubby, the wedding invitations were rolling
in a few weeks ago. Feeling kind, I elected to take Tubby as my non-date.
This wedding was that of Cecy and Manuel, the latter of whom has been
acquainted with Tubby's brother for some 11 years (and counting).
As with any good Catholic service, it seems a clear presence of
a giant crucifix is a good start.
After the ceremony, I snuck into the photo shoot with the couple
and the wedding party. Yea, me!
Salad was served first, but I sort of got stuck on the croutons
and never got to the main course.
The traditional tossing of the bridal bouquet. As near as I could
tell, a little girl of about 5 caught it.
And from there, the garter toss. In this instance, the big guy (center,
back row) was the winner.
The dancing began with the couple's first dance, which was to the
tune of the Godfather theme.
