This wedding was unique in two ways for me. First, that it was a member of my staff getting married, and second, that I was asked to officiate. The couple selected the date -- January 10, 2006 -- in good part for its binary nature (011006). I like the way they think.

At 8pm and 55 degrees (F; °C), the ceremony kicked off, and five minutes later, they couple were engaged in the throws of wedded bliss. Quick and business-like ceremony, eh? And if you're looking for a traditional wedding, keep looking -- you won't find it here (sorry).

A few vows here and there, and we leap right into the swapping of jewelry...	... and reciprocation is key in any marriage, so after Rachel got her ring, so Theo got his.	And the inevitable...
