In a rather cerebral mood, I figured that with boron being the fifth
entry in the periodic table of the elements, this place should be booming
with fame and fortune. It turns out that beyond a couple of paved roads
and a functional school bus program (a rare find in California these days),
there was little else to discover.
Not a bad sign, as signs go... far nicer than the dull white-on-green
ones, too, eh?
One of perhaps two main roads; this one is Boron Avenue.
The bus stop sign looks antique, certainly, but we soon bore witness
to it still being useful.
While you can't see the red flashing lights, well, flashing, let
me assure you, they were.
