Miami turned out to be more of a stepping stone in the trip than in
the pivotal turning point that we'd thought before setting off.
While it's a great city, we didn't have much interest in the traffic,
the noise, or any of that, so except for serving as a point of passage
to Key West (in the morning) or toward the Gulf of Mexico area in the
evening, it was just sort of there. Alas, we snapped a few pictures.
We're here. But our schedule has
gotten to the point of driving in the dark at times... yuk.
And leaving in the dark. Let's see
what we can see at 6am...
... just signs. Security won't let
anyone in until 9am. Drat.
But even from outside of the perimeter, we can see the
mock-up of the Space Shuttle.
