Aloha Stadium Swap Meet - No more a city than an event, but a swell place to get $3 t-shirts. (Aug. '10) Haleiwa - Along the upper edge of Oah'u is the "big" town of Haleiwa -- 2,200 people in all. (Sep. '10) Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - A bunch of volcanic stuff on the big island of Hawaii. (Sep. '10) Hilo - The second largest not-city on the Big Island of Hawaii. (Sep. '10) Honolulu - The biggest big town on the island of Oah'u. (Aug. '10) Honomu - A little town on the way to a cute little waterfall. (Sep. '10) Kahuku - 2,000 people, but the biggest claim to fame was in the mid-1970s. (Sep. '10) Kailua - The biggest little town along the windward (east) side of the island. (Aug. '10) Kapolei - The last big town before a lot of little ones along the western edge of the island. (Aug. '10) Laie - A small community with a number of big things going on in town. (Sep. '10) Luau Night - As the saying goes, when in Rome... so I headed over to a luau. (Aug. '10) Makaha - The last hint of a town before the nothingness of the northwest corner of Oah'u. (Aug. '10) Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens - The zoo can truly claim to be the only rainforest-based zoo in th e U.S. (Sep. '10) Southern-most Point in the United States - Not a lot here but some tourists and rough roads. (Sep. '10) Volcano - A teeny little town as you approach the eastern entrance to the national park.
