Quickly becoming one of the most-visited cities that I have been through,
Mardi
Gras 2004 marks my third visit to the Big Easy in as many years. This
visit, though, marked some exciting weather, including a tornado alert.
The gray clouds were ominous as the radio played the emergency broadcasting
alert tones.
The rain poured and poured, as seen rolling off the roofs in the
French Quarter...
... and things looked about the same as I drove down St. Claude
Avenue.
The rain pouring out the down-spouts gives you an idea of how heavy
the rainfall actually was.
Not rain-related, but I thought it was an interesting commentary
presented in graffiti form.
One of the houses along the St. Claude are also getting into the
Mardi Gras spirit.
