Annapolis stands today as the state capital of Maryland, and for a brief period after we the war with England for freedom, and before the Constitution was ratified, Annapolis was also the seat of the new country's government.

Fancy sign, and impressive dates of establishment. Between 1783-1784 or so, this was also the nation's capital. Now it serves only as Maryland's. Middleton Tavern. It'd old. It look it, I guess.
The homes are also something of a relic from another era... but in a good way. The marina, and the Annapolis Yacht Club at its edge has been here since 1886. Sure, we like all you Navy boys. Every time there's a war to fight, you give us [Marines] a ride.
