The favorite vacation spot of 41st U.S. President George
Bush (y'know, the first one, who brought us such armed conflicts as
the Persian Gulf and Desert Storm), we visited on a non-presidential,
but overcast, Thursday.
Kinda a big ol' sign, and we had to fight our way through the old
folks also taking pictures of it. Odd.
The bridge leading into town affords some nice views of the river,
trees, and boat launch.
The shops, which I'm almost sure are done up all pretty-like for
tourists like us. But it did the trick.
The museum. Just because museums have to look all old and historic.
That's the rule.
Standard-issue church, with its standard-issue steeple to bring
the standard-issue flock in each week.
A fire station that I think was intended to look older and more
quaint than it is. Nice try, though.
