The state capital of the Silver State sits at Carson City. Not the largest
city by any means (maybe 50,000 people or so, hardly the a Las Vegas at
400,000+, but a decent sized little hamlet.)
A-ha! A sign... that we're in the capital city of Nevada. Big whoop.
As you gaze down Carson Street, you can't help but notice every
building looks, well, the same.
At least the court house across the street was a bit different --
it had one of them round tops.
The state Senate was more or less back to the less interesting designs.
Is it just me, or does is it funny to have a money loan place across
from where the senators work?
Along the route of the U.S. Pony Express is Carson City, as noted
here on the historic marker.
