The Borough of Darby can trace its roots back being an early Quaker settlement,
first residents calling it home in 1660, a cemetery dating to the early
1700s, then adding their library in 1743, and finally incorporating in
1852. Today, it's still home to 10,000 or so folks, but the streets are
as quiet as I imagine 400 years ago.
The omnipresent photo of me with a sign, but the snow is added only
for dramatic effect (well, no...).
The daunting structure to any big bad wolf, a row home made of brick.
The more risky home made of wood, and not afforded the nearby protection
of a neighbor.
Peril unannounced -- the pathway bridge is out, and slippery, too...
a lawsuit waiting to happen.
If it's a snowy place, why paint the houses to match? At least the
car is a nice shade of red.
