The one thing that had us giggling initially, and then sobered us up,
was where we made a U-turn in a driveway just out of town, startling a
little girl (dressed all in royal blue) by surprise. Apparently well taught,
she immediately began running for the house. Okay, maybe a bit funny,
but I can remember a time where every strange car wasn't a cause for immediate
alarm. (And this isn't even the big city, with a population of just 6,300
people.)
A nice sign, all things considered. And I like the fact we were
established in the 1700s.
The homes were modest, but comfy looking. (The fog wasn't taken
into consideration.)
The churches are also equally modest, but serve their function to
their higher being(s) of choice.
