St. Albans is the first city we stopped into after reaching Vermont.
As first impressions go, it was fabulous, despite the rain. People even
drove nicer, and we got fewer strange looks while walking around and taking
pictures.
A carved sign, colorfully painted, and a town established more than
a decade before the Revolution.
I... can't remember what this place is. Either a school or museum.
But it was hours ago; sorry.
It looks charming enough, although "charming" isn't always
what you want in a funeral home.
The downtown area. Cute, all done in brick, and not
crowded -- and considering today is Columbus Day and several folks
aren't working or in school, the low/no traffic thing was a bit surprising.
