This year marked the 7th annual Great International Chicken Wing Society
Cook-Off held over the Fourth of July weekend in Reno,
Nevada. Not only was it a great source of chicken wings (duh), but
the unexpected bonus of a huge snowcone for desert.
Like most events, it starts with a sign, even if's not from the
cook-off's sign.
The society's banner, and a tribute to the chicken who gave his
left wing to be here.
The show has made the rounds, with several events held last year
in Las Vegas.
All the usual BBQ options, but we round out the menu selection with
the chicken and sauce varieties.
I don't know what part of a chicken the hot dog comes from, but
I wasn't here to ask questions.
That's one gigantic snow cone, so I opted to stick with just one
extra large, just to be reasonable.
