Like any other gathering, my parties, events, and seances all have one
thing in common: food. People may come for the company, but they stay
for the eats. And you can't win friends with salad. You need meat (and
I consider SPAM® a meat, as it does have meat product in it.
These days, they have hand baskets, regular carts, carts for kids,
carts with cupholders, and even carts for ducks now. Yea!
The best part of the duck cart, of course, is I can leave the unloading
to them -- just park my cart on the conveyor belt.
I paid cash, of course. Susan, the clerk who'd rather not be photographed,
was leery on taking my $50, but the only other bill I had wasn't legal
tender; she accepted it at long last.
