What better way to spend Valentine's Day than at a tennis match? And
the SAP Open, no less, in the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Tonight's
match was between Andy Roddick and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain. But
it didn't take long to figure out the teenage girls where there because
they were all about Andy.
I'm all a-blur as I head into the HP Pavilion with
my ticket in wing.
They were giving out "No compromise" wristbands. I'm not
to keen on where they put mine.
Section 101, row 9, seat 2: I snug down for the game, and have a
pretty good view to boot.
One ball, two players, and nine line referees. That doesn't even
count the ten or so ball chasers.
Andy drew in fans who don't care for tennis. I'd also guess these
two ran out of photo space right quick.
I will confess I'd probably have had a better time of it if I could
figure out the scoring -- but no dice.
