Despite the similar name, the city is nothing like the 239-pound Simpsons
character. Once I got over that, though, it did prove to be a cute
little town. The town itself looks like most any other small town,
though. But yes, Homer is a remote little aspect of this vast state.
Halibut capital of the world, perhaps.
But definitely the end of the line... and the land.
But for the dim-wits, they have a restaurant
with a name to remind ya (at the very end of the road).
I did enjoy the surfboard added to the
pedestrian sign... truth in advertising, as it were.
