Yes, Virginia, in a town of 3,000 people, 40% of the town is in the parade, which mades finding a seat along the sideline easy work.

The Sheriff's Mounted Posse is always a popular favorite in local parades.	As is waving at streamer-covered pickups.  I waved my free flag, so I can't complain any, honestly...	After having candy thrown from parade participants, it seems to be tradition to do a jig of thanks.
You can't have a parade without fire trucks from 100+ miles away. (Klamath Falls, OR is a drive...)	Followed immediately by both police cars.  (Actually, the latter was borrowed from the CHP.)
