While we were just following your standard-issue map form point A to point B, we were warned of the speed-trap along Highway 16. As we neared Esparto, I suspected we'd found it.

Even before we got to the edge of town, we saw signs of the rumored speed trap of Esparto.	Not missing a beat, I still stopped and got the customary photo of me next to the town's green sign.	I figured I'd ask the cop if he writes a lot of tickets, and lo and behold, this cop's a dummy -- literally!
Speeding through town now, I went by (but was unimpressed by the market), so I kept looking.	The downtown area had a quaint set of buildings that looked quite like the towns of old.	Right down to the train depot, that if for sale, I'd just have to buy and build my LEGO train sets within.
