Like most larger cities, Santa Barbara had a nondescript sign along Highway
101 as you enter town. I could stop and get it, sure, but could risk dying
in the process. I'm not quite at the stage of being ready to die for The
Cause.
Mission Santa Barbara was the 10th (of 21) California missions,
this one founded in 1786.
The views from the mission are good, too -- those Spaniards had
a good eye for detail.
As we puttered down Anacapa Street, we couldn't help but catch a
view of the decor in the works.
Like Michael Jackson, I thought I'd go see the Santa Barbara County
courthouse.
