A full week in one place - who would have thought such a thing was possible?

There's nothing more romantic than hanging out in an airport terminal... ... except having to prove to the airport guy I'm small enough to ride (ugh!) as carry-on luggage. But once aboard, it's every duck for himself... always read the safety instructions.
I found the police cars are mostly the same as at home, except the lights are mostly blue. City Hall, placed within a few feet of where the first settlers landed in 1733. The same place Forrest Gump mumbled about life and a box of crackers, or something like that.
Near the fountain in Forsythe Park, a 30-acre recreation area south of downtown It wasn't unusual to find very different styles of houses, either - these were Victorians... And then something that had a New Orleans flavor to it, which was just across the street...
... from a nice, traditional Savannah-looking home. Yes, the rest of America calls them alleys, but in Savannah, they prefer to call 'em "lanes". Random view of some homes along East Oglethorpe Avenue near Abercorn Street.
