Tucked along the windward side of Oahu, which seems to be mostly local
talk for the side where the wind comes in, and a goodly size of towns
with 36,000 people and oddles of cuteness.
Signs are a rare find in town, but high schools and post offices
tend to always be a reliable source.
Smokeless cigarette shops are HUGE everywhere in Hawaii... good
idea, I guess.
Lots of tree-lined streets in the downtown area, which certainly
adds to the town's cuteness.
Kailua has one of the bigger fire stations I saw whilst wandering
around the island.
I don't get it: Longs Drugs died a few years back on the mainland,
but new stores are opening here.
