The capital city of Iowa.  And why not?  They have such a stately building in place, it just makes sense to make it the capital building, huh...

I'm willing to bet there are other, nicer signs to be found.  But we didn't find them.	Looking downtown from the opposite shore of the Des Moines River.	The aforementioned capital building.  We parked illegally to get the picture - nice, huh?
Does this sign need a second sign added:  "Duh!"
