The state capital of Illinois, the final resting place of Abraham Lincoln, the site of his home for a while, this town had it all.  Except a good place to stop for an early lunch, so we did that later.

No city sign to speak of, but how about a sign for the Public Works yard?  Close enough.	The Illinois state capital building -- and even a block away, free parking.  Sweet.	One of Lincoln's homes, during his adult years, shared with the wife and kids.
A man of many homes, but just the one grave, where he's now interred.	Even though this guy was a past governor of the state, his tomb is just teeny compared to Abe's.
