Not too far off of Interstate 80 (take exit 69 north about two miles),
but I was a bit surprised to find it's about the same really small sort
of town as is Sunol, California... which I've also yet to post. In a bold
nod to future generations, the school house is by far the biggest and
nicest building in this unincorporated town.
Sort of a nondescript sign, and a little tough to find... but I
tend to be lucky finding signs.
Speaking of signs, there were a few that this market was no longer
having regular business hours.
But the school was doing fine, and was by far the biggest and nicest
building in all of town.
The only other sign of modern stuff was the Union Pacific track
maintenance vehicle.
Honestly, this is the first time I've seen such a sign. Very visual,
though, don't you think?
I sort of suspect this is one person's idea of a recreational vehicle,
a shell on a trailer...?!?
