Martha's town sign boasts "small town living," and with a population
of about 198 (based on estimates, which is all I could find), they're
not kidding. There is one stop sign in town, where Main Street (north-sound
bound) meets the main county road (east-west bound). A quiet place, Martha
stands.
The sign itself was colorful and lovely. And when they say small
town living, they're not kidding.
The water tower is indeed a curious shape, and of these three homes,
two looked lived in.
Some were better cared for than others. I particularly like the
white fence.
The Martha Town Hall building, next to the former motor shop (on
the right).
The U.S. Post Office is alive and kickin', though... except today,
since it's a Sunday.
