As state capitals go, it wasn't at all unpleasant. The complex has a
pretty nice design, and even some nifty, color maps to guide you around
the place. Which is quite helpful when you're illegally parked behind
the Temple of Justice. (Does that name also make you think of the Marvel
super heroes comic books? Me too.)
No sign picture (that didn't involve stopping on the interstate),
but a city hall ain't a bad second.
Here in Washington, it's possible to buy a home with a good view
of the back of the capital's dome.
And from home, you can walk over to the capital early in the morning
and take a peek at the place.
Across from the capital building is the Temple of Justice. I liked
the use of the word "temple."
The governor's mansion. I'm guessing it's still used, since this
was the only staffed guard booth.
Larry King is an attorney? Really? Who knew? His office is just
blocks from the capital campus.
