With an average rainfall of only 37 inches per year (as compared to New York City's 46 inches), it's not that wet -- just overcast a lot, apparently. But not the day I visited, really... sure, some gray clouds, but not enough to do a rain dance over.

We rolled into town and saw many of the usual sights, like the stadium of the Seattle Seahawks. Pike's Market, cleverly located on Pike at First, opened in 1907, and was renovated in the early 70s. Her sign read: "I have a dream for a Big Mac and shake. Will you help me reach my dream?"
But the Space Needle, opened in 1962 for the World's Fair, is still operating daily (ducks are free). From the top, I could see a pretty nifty view of the skyline of Seattle's downtown... ... as well as our car, cleverly parked near the KOMO ABC Channel 4 news vans.
