Sitting just a few miles into Washington from Portland, Oregon, this
little town boasts cheaper gas prices, and you can even pump your own
gas. (Oregon state law prohibits that silliness.)
Not your everyday sort of sign for a town, but Vancouver isn't your
everyday sort of city, either.
Once upon a time, the civic buildings were made of brick. Places
like libraries...
... churches of all faiths...
... but today, the city can't afford it. But at least banks will
spend the dough on brick buildings.
