As a public service, here is a brief guide to the money I have encountered here in Australia...

Paper money is available in $5, $10, $20, $50.. and probably others, but that's all we have. The paper money has windows... I suspect for anti-counterfeiting purposes.  But pretty neat, eh? $2 is a coin, not a paper bill.  If only the U.S. could pull this off, but it's been a tough sell so far.
The coins we've seen so far are the 50¢, 20¢, and 5¢. The coins all seem to have Queen Elizabeth II on them, despite Australia no longer being a Commonwealth country (as far as I know, anyway.)
