Manly is a city located along the outer limits of the Sydney Harbour,
with Manly Bay being one of the last points before you enter the open
ocean, or if you cross the sliver of land from Manly Bay, you'll find
yourself at Manly Beach, and with your toes in the South Pacific Ocean.
These were all over, which not only made me feel welcome, but offered
a map of the city.
Manly Beach is on the opposite side of the narrow bit
of land separating Manly Bay (below, right) and the South Pacific
Ocean. It's a bit cool to swim yet, but still quite lovely to look
out at the water.
One of the arsty things along the pedestrian mall. The lad up front
is also taking a photo of the thingy.
The pedestrian mall. Sure, it's all for the tourists, but it's quite
pretty and colorful and stuff.
Where the ferry lands and departs is the Manly Bay, which by its
own right is quite pleasant to see.
