In short, Sydney rocks. Granted, I was staying in the touristy area,
which I'm sure gets a little more care and attention from the City for
upkeep and what-not, but even outside of the downtown, the city is still
far cleaner that most larger American cities I've visited.
Well, as signs go, it ain't bad. And nicely illuminated, eh?
Even the view from the hotel wasn't at all bad. But not as neat
as being next to the Opera House.
The touristy shopping area "The
Rocks" with the Harbour Bridge in the background, just a
dash of fog.
I think they got tired of tourists who didn't realize they drive
on the other side of the road here.
It's Australian for "hotel," Bruce.
Y'know, it's the little things, don't you think?
Okay, I admit it... I liked the bridge. Here it is, at night, in
a light drizzle. Neat, huh?
Yup, the bridge again... but this time, from underneath. (I wasn't
allowed onto the bridge
walk trip.)
Dinner one night was at Doyle's.
Gregory, the waiter, was a bit rude, but at least I got "chips."
