Crocodylus Park had all sorts of other animals, yes, but since my purpose
was to see crocodiles, I figured it seemed only fair to focus on those.
For the most part.
Not big or fancy, as signs go, but it's a sign, and I like starting
out with signs.
This placid croc is nesting, so she's mostly just chilling out...
just stay away from her eggs.
Once hatched, crocs are sorted by size into one of three nesting
pens (here in the zoo, that is).
This Nile croc didn't cross the road in time (kidding). This guy
was 13 feet long before he died; a biggie.
Crocs tend to prefer lurking in murky water; here, we only see the
head poking out, waiting...
This is a rather unusual member of the croc family. This water buffalo
is part of the food chain, though.
