Honestly, I have dozens of pictures similar to these, but to be perfectly
blunt, they all look the same. From the dry areas we were in (a semi-submerged
boat and an observation deck on the platform) everything has an overly
blue tint, the colors aren't very vibrant, and the fish aren't terribly
close by.
Well, of course you get at least one of me. I tend to call these
my "establishing shots."
If you wanted a look in the water without SCUBA or snorkel (and
weren't a fish), you'd be in here
Coral, just doing whatever it is coral does: eat, grow, reproduce,
repeat.
A fish floating about knowing that he's not the yummy plankton that
coral eat, so he's quite safe.
If you guessed this type of coral is commonly called 'brain coral',
you would be correct.
If you know what kind of coral is, please let me know -- I really
have no idea. Honest. None.

More pictures to follow in the next few days, once we get the (ahem)
film developed from the underwater cameras.
