The second-largest city in Australia, and for a while stood as the national capital until Canberra took that role. Today, it's still huge (about 3.5 million people), and has lots of pretty things to look at around town.

I have no need for an exposition centre, but it does make an okay backdrop, I suppose. I have no idea what this is along the Yarra River, but the round, gray building is the concert hall. As stately as it looks, it's just one of a few train stations around town (here is Flinders Street Station)

The Victoria State Library, built starting in 1854, and completed in stages. (It's done now, though.) They have a variety of trams here, but they're all equally quaint to look at running about town.
