In a bold nod to being a non-conformist, I opted not to be a typical
tourist and just follow around the "Sound of Music" sights that
are so commonly found all around town (all were shot in town, minus the
two running on the hills, obviously, and the marriage, held at a neighboring
church). Okay, fine... here's
the abbey Maria lived in before living at the Captain's house.
Feuerwehr Salzburg rushed by with four trucks and a command car...
going... somewhere.
Some of the qaint Mozart-era homes along the Salzach River (seen
at the Makartsteg Bridge).
Within one of the shops, just thought it was colorful and kinda
neat. Think about what... dunno.
Chess anyone? And no, the little boy on the gold ball is not a real
boy. (Made of wood? Nah...)
The Residenz Fountain near the front of the Salzburg Museum and
to the side of the Cathedral.
The statue of Mozart, nicely put in within the Mozartplatz
plaza area.
