Not to be confused with Vancouver,
Washington, this one was the original, or so I'd like to believe.
The only thing I didn't quite understand was why most of the lawns in
the city-supported places was brown and dying, but the little league fields
were lush and green. Alas.
Big cities and signs are tough to find, but I'm quite content with
a sewer grate in a pinch.
It's a nice pond in Queen Elizabeth park, but why is the grass brown
(center, background).
Yet, the grass at the local sports field is green enough for the
Canadian geese to be snacking.
Chevron is quite nifty -- having a gas station in the middle of
the harbor for our boaters in town.
Nothing overly special, but I liked the row boat in front of the
dome thing near the stadium thing.
From the edge of town, this looks like another attempt at a Space
Needle -- until you get closer.
