For every wrong turn we made (and it was more than twice) we seemed to
find another large branch of town. The City Centre, though, was a compact
area of neat little shops and a few small malls, all shoved together into
a convenient little area, ideal for a mini-walking tour of Hamilton.
I had a devil of a time finding any sort of sign, and was about
to give up when I came by this one.
Nothing overly special, I just thought it was a cool building, kitty-corner
from the public toilet.
It's the $1 store in the US, but the dollar here isn't as strong,
so it's a $2 store -- end of the econ lesson.

The mall that had sort of a sunroom feel to it. Rather open and
airy, I thought. Nice, huh?
132,000 people in town, we were here an hour, and we only saw one
Starbucks -- goodness!
