Palmerston North isn't going to rank amongst the top 10 tourist attractions of New Zealand, but being a college town (home of Massey University, second largest in New Zealand), it has plenty of local splendor, and a mall showing movies before they reach the States... the latter being two things that are quite important to lil' ol' me.

As signs go, it's a little shiner than the average sign. And being a male, I like shiny things.	Downtown, as seen from the mall's parking structure up on the third level.	This is that bus terminal you've read about in all the fashion magazines, y'know.
The secret to why our day usually ends by 5:30pm -- it gets dark, fast.	And like the sun disappearing, at 5:30pm, the mall closes. Except on Friday nights, then it's 8pm.	Minus the KMart, Starbucks of town, there's quite a few rather lovely shops along the way.
