Even the sign tells you -- there's more to Taupo than the Great Lake (although it's apparently known as Lake Taupo, not the Great Lake, but that's not important right now). From the big plane at McDonald's to the Super Loo to the cute hitchhikers, Taupo has something for everyone.

Well, if that doesn't sum it up nicely -- hey, there's more to town than just the lake.	But, if you're going to live like a Kiwi, you have to dress the part. And I know just the place...	... even if you're biggest plans of the day are to go to the town's Super Loo. (I didn't go inside.)
But if it's just a lake town, it's certainly a nice-enough lake. Look at the water's clarity...	Dude, you said meet at the lake. So... what do you want to do now? I dunno... how about you?	I know! Let's go to the McDonald's McCafé, grab a latte, and sit in the cockpit and make engine noises!
