This little village is located about 5 kilometers north of Orewa, and is probably most known for the thermal resort. That aside, there's little here beyond a few businesses, a handful and a half of homes, and some nice views of the ocean, with a bit of beach running alongside.

From the turn-out right off of Highway 1, you can see a few of the buildings if you look to town...	... or lagoon-like waters of the area just south of town that they'd view from their windows.	Looking toward the hills a bit, you can see a few of the, well, few homes that occupy this village.
The thermal resort is on the left side of this, essentially the one street there is in town.	It's quite possible the surf is more impressive with the winds and rain, but you're right at the water.
