I can't quite explain what it was about Warkworth, but the town is just
friendly. No one talked to us or anything, and Tubby hardly broke out
of his shell to talk to others, yet, it just had a home-like feeling to
the place. Even despite getting rained upon as we walked around.
They had some lovely city signs, but we missed everyone of them,
so I figured this one would do.
Right at the end of the main street was this lovely park, with a
small river running behind it. Super!
For a town of 2,500, this is just one of the seven (yes, seven)
real estate agencies we walked past.
It was noon, so apparently the school kids congregate outside the
Tip Top for hot cocoa (coffee?).
Best guess: it's an all barefoot game of catch. It was like no other
sport I've ever seen played.
From a hilltop along the south side of town, looking across Warkworth
toward the north.
