It's one of those things you and I both have heard about for years, but never quite could visualize, right?  So, when I ran across it repeatedly while traveling down Highway 4, I figured it was worth a look. 

To get a sense of the pipe itself, one of the informational places along the road gave this example.	I really wanted a picture of me sitting on the pipeline, but they planned for that in advance.  :(	I may be a nerd, but I actually liked learning about the details of elevating and burying the pipe.
Same story as above, except this one is about when it's buried, versus left above ground.	And when it goes from under- ground to above group, well, that's nice to see, too.	The only thing I don't understand is the motto found on the pipeline company (Alyeska)'s trucks.
