As lush as it sounds, there are no oases rummaging around the hills in
this town just beside Scottsdale. Rather,
there are a series of ponds and small man-made lakes which are quite lovely,
of course, but any images the name may conjure up is merely a mirage.
Off to a rocky start, but what a comprehensive sign.
Okay, with a view like this at the town limits, I can forgive a
little rough terrain near a sign.
Note the city's seal on their street signs. Since towns run together,
a unique sign seal is vital, I'd argue.
Not so much a fountain as a man- made pond, but take what you can
get.
I suspect they need to reclaim more waste water; things are looking
a bit grim for the lawn.
Every few blocks, the name of the neighborhood changes... it's all
about location, I'm guessing.
