Sort of tucked just past the 2,800 foot mark, where there's still a bit
of snow lingering on the ground in parking lots, sits Big Oak Flat. A
nice little town, all the basics, none of the fluff.
A simple sign, and a simple town. They have the necessities, and
no frills. It's a degree of perfection.
The local accountant's office, but I was at a loss as to the speed
bump in front (to the far right).
The local internet and web shop, which seems to buy paint from the
same store as the accountant.
Now the IOOF hall, this stone building has been hanging out since
1853.
The Catholic church; it seems almost too big for the town, but ample
seating is always nice.
For those who've opted to stick around in Big Oak Flat even after
passing away, there's options.
