Okay, to get to Moccasin, you can get there from Highway 120 or cross
the dam road from Highway 49. After wandering around a few minutes and
seeing a lot of "authorized vehicles only" sign, I got the distinct
impression we weren't really welcome here, so we made a U-turn and got
back on the highway. (The facility is part of San Francisco's Hetch Hetchy
Water & Power system.)
To get to Moccasin, it seem you need to leap off of Highway 49 and
across the dam road.
Spelling of how we make "soda" a plural, going around
the corner is disappointing...
... as the store is clearly not open on Saturdays. Or as near as
I can tell, any other day.
The post office, along with a note that skateboarding violates the
Penal Code. (Fiction, of course.)
