Forgive the overcast nature of the pictures -- a thunderstorm had just
rolled through town. The town itself was a wee bit gloomy on its own,
but the gray clouds didn't help. For what it's worth, it was just as gloomy
looking on the other side of the river (into Arizona), though the homes
looked much nicer.
Just after crossing over the bridge into Needles (and California),
you are greeted by a nice lil' sign.
The golf course was rather lovely, and I liked the pueblo-styled
homes that bordered the course.
You can get a little lube for your car and a little something for
yourself.
Not without amenities, Needles has an aquatic center. There was
also a pool, but it wasn't as tall.
The river that runs between Arizona and California affords Needles
some beach-front areas.
Yeah, I know -- it's uphill. That's what I thought... but down the
road is an underpass that's flooded.
