After our bitter defeat in not finding anything too thrilling in Shreveport, I was delighted to wander around Monroe. I was even more delighted to stop and get out of the car for lunch in this quaint place.

I couldn't find a sign, so I was torn between the traditional water tower picture...	... or the Civic Center sign, that even tells you the time (Central Time) that I paid my visit.	Sure, I like the stained glass windows, but with such a classy "opening soon" sign, I expect very little.
Along this stretch of road was nothing but chicken places, so the sight of the BBQ place was nice.
