Grand Island served as both a lovely place for lunch (or in local terms,
"dinner"), a locale of somewhat rude realtors (since we didn't
mention availability of a down payment, he didn't have a list of properties
available), and nice parks.
As with all things, it begins with some sort of sign.
The downtown is littered with older brick buildings... but it had
its share of modern ones, too.
For those who aren't paying attention, we're in the downtown area.
And, we're welcome here.
Between 1st and 2nd Streets is a rather lovely park...
... which comes complete with some rather lovely squirrels.
