Most of these little towns want you to be sure you're aware they existed
long before the United States were either united, nor states. One such
example is Portsmouth, since we're standing right here.
As noted, they're careful to make sure you know just how long they've
been around.
Downtown, lots of brick and stuff. But brick is cool when you're
not in an earthquake-prone state.
Like most towns, one of the first things you see is the large white
church steeple.
And following the point to ground zero, you'll find at least a handful
of houses of worship.
If you're into worshiping other things, go home. And
there's no rules about what you worship in the privacy of your own
home, thanks to the protections of the Constitution. Go, liberty!
